Enter your full name, the 'sign up' box says. And so I enter my full name. Which nearly always ends up then giving me an error because my name is too long. Ah, sometimes I love the internet!

I also love coming on here this evening after spending the afternoon commenting on peoples sunshine_challenge posts to have comments of my own. It's quite the thrill and I'm feeling completely joyful about it.

It's been a lazy Sunday. After going to the supermarket and doing some laundry, most of the day has been spent basking in the sun in my backgarden. I've been, as I said, exploring dreamwidth, reading, eating ice-cream and drinking what felt like all the water in Bristol.

I've also been trying - and, sadly, failing - to find Leverage and Supernatural fic on A03. Now, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of fics for both fandoms, and I'm sure there are crossovers aplenty, but everything seems to be sex and relationship related and that's something that doesn't interest me.

I'm asexual and aromantic. I don't experience sexual, romantic, aesthetic, sensual or physical attraction. I have no libido and no sexual desire. I'm pretty much sex-repulsed. And so, I want the gen fic. Nothing shippy or slashy
For Leverage, I want heist fic, I want con fic, I want found family fic.
For Supernatural, I want road trips, hunting things, saving people, brothers being brothers

Maybe I just need to learn how to search the site better, figure out the tagging system.

For now though, I think a cup of tea and a movie - The Lost Boys has been calling my name recently. Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die. It's fun to be a vampire.

I've been appreciating the Sunshine-Challenge comments, too! The prompts are completely in my wheelhouse. Thank you for yours!

Yeah, back when the earth was new and I was a huge Supernatural fan, the gen was hard to find. Some fandoms just generate seafood and it can be frustrating to try to navigate around it. I'll try the wayback machine between my ears and see if I can remember something amazing....in the 'verse.

Do you know how to do a tag filter on AO3? You can customize your search to pretty much any combo that suits you.

I've tried to filter out a bunch of tags *here*, but I don't know what kinda results are left. Still, fiddling around with the AO3 search features is the best option I can think of, other than asking in a SPN fic community or Tumblr account.
